Poland and Straltsova Shine at Louisiana Night Jam
Joel Poland and Hanna Straltsova won the men’s and women’s jumping titles, respectively, at the 7th Louisiana Night Jam, presented by Tides Medical, at Tri-Lakes in Zachary, La. This exciting event featured some of the world’s top professional water ski jumpers.
Joel Poland Dominates the Men’s Event
Representing Great Britain, Joel Poland claimed the men’s title with an impressive jump of 230 feet in the finals. Freddy Krueger from Winter Garden, Fla., secured second place with a jump of 227 feet, despite earning the top seed for the finals with a remarkable 235 feet in the preliminary round. Austria’s Luca Rauchenwald and Winter Garden’s Taylor Garcia completed the top four with jumps of 217 feet and 214 feet, respectively.
Hanna Straltsova Triumphs in the Women’s Event
In the women’s competition, Hanna Straltsova, representing the IWWF, emerged victorious with a final jump of 177 feet. Aliaksandra Danisheuskaya, also from the IWWF, took second place with a jump of 171 feet. Brittany Warton from Little Rock, Ark., finished third with a distance of 165 feet.
The 7th Louisiana Night Jam highlighted the incredible talent and skill of the world’s best water ski jumpers, making for an unforgettable night of competition.
