Babicz, renowned for his speed ascents in alpine terrain, faced intense challenges on Persefone Extension, especially grappling with the route’s toughest sequences in its final stretch. Reflecting on the climb, he remarked, “No drytooling route has demanded such determination from me before.”
Having previously achieved remarkable feats like solo ascents of iconic peaks in record times, including the Mont Blanc massif and Pizzo Badile, Babicz continues to push boundaries in the world of mountaineering and climbing.
